We welcome you to join us in our efforts to strengthen democratic values and representation in the 13th Legislative District of Washington State.

Legislative District 13 includes all of Kittitas County, most of Grant County, and parts of Adams and Douglas counties.

Volunteer!

Legislative District 13 has two congressional seats on the ballot in this critical Midterm election year. Help Democrats regain control of Congress to save our democracy and people from the current administration!

LD 13 Democrats are working now to nominate Democrat John Duresky in the August 4th primary for Congressional District 4.

We will also be campaigning to re-elect Dr. Kim Schrier in Congressional District 8 in the November midterm election.

What we do

We endorse local, state, and national candidates and volunteer for campaigns. In the summer, we register voters and talk to voters at farmers markets. We support our Precinct Committee Officers (PCOs) in getting out the vote. We craft resolutions to help shape the state Democratic platform to reflect local and broader concerns. We send committee members and delegates to the state Democratic convention to vote on resolutions and the platform. We design and print promotional materials and maintain a website. Throughout the year we have virtual and in-person meetings and welcome you to attend and participate.

Welcome back Kim Schrier!

Your donations and canvassing efforts helped to re-elect the most qualified and experienced candidate for CD8. With a proven track record of working for everyone, getting bills signed and bringing federal funding to Washington communities, Congresswoman Kim Schrier in the 8th Congressional District has served the East Cascades communities very well. Her accomplishments include getting federal funding for rural healthcare and broadband, forest resiliency, and green energy infrastructure and jobs.  She will continue to serve Eastside needs and concerns.
